The LithiumSafe™ 17″ Laptop sized Fire Containment Bag (PN: LSBB4744) has been intensively tested under worst-case portable electronic device thermal runaway scenarios. It is specifically engineered to safely contain open flames, extreme heat release, sparks, burning debris, fragment projection and the internal pressure build-up that can occur during PED battery failure.
The LithiumSafe™ fire containment bag has been tested for extended durations of continuous fire exposure, delivering hours of lithium-ion battery fire protection. It is designed to fully contain a PED battery fire until all lithium-ion cells have completely burned out — meaning the thermal runaway event is safely managed until the battery has exhausted its fuel source and self-extinguishes.
