The LithiumSafe™ Fire Containment Bag (PN: LSBB4744) is specifically designed to safely isolate lithium battery incidents involving portable electronic devices (PEDs) up to a maximum size of 17 inches. Suitable for laptop computers, notebook computers, Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs), tablets and other lithium-powered devices, the bag helps contain flames, extreme heat, sparks, burning debris, cell venting and fragment projection that may occur during a thermal runaway event.

The containment bag has undergone extensive testing under severe lithium battery fire conditions to validate its performance during prolonged thermal runaway scenarios. By completely enclosing the affected device, the bag is engineered to maintain control of the incident until the battery cells have released their stored energy and the reaction has naturally subsided.
